Dumbo Park was inspired by my earlier Stylized Pizza Truck concept, expanding it into a lively, stylized urban scene based on New York’s Dumbo neighborhood.
My goal for this project was to experiment with modular workflows, trim sheets, and construction blueprints to streamline the level design process in Unreal Engine 5.
Using Maya for modeling, Substance Painter for texturing, and Unreal Engine 5 for rendering, I developed detailed and optimized assets, including modular building pieces, a taco shop, a taco truck, and the Manhattan Bridge. I also utilized blueprints to streamline the creation of this scene.
Through this project, I refined several key skills:
- - Modular workflows for efficient design
- - Trim sheets for optimized texturing
- - Construction blueprints for faster level assembly
The project took four months to complete. It was a highly rewarding challenge that expanded my creative and technical abilities while reimagining my original concept on a larger scale.
This is my second asset pack available on Fab. For a full breakdown of this project, please visit my blog:
