Rumbleverse brought back memories of creating my first stylized prop in Maya back in 2019—a project that sparked my passion for 3D modeling.
This fan art was a personal challenge I decided to take on after a couple of weeks of playing Rumbleverse. My initial goal was to reference props from the game and recreate them while staying faithful to its art style.
I came across several options, but only two stood out as durable enough to complete within a short time frame.
Inspired by the game’s aesthetic, I created this fan art over the course of a week, staying true to its unique art style.
I created the models in Maya, textured it in Substance Painter, and rendered it in Marmoset Toolbag. This project served as both a creative exercise and a rewarding challenge.
Through this project, I learned:
- - Recreating assets while maintaining the game’s art style
- - Stylized exaggeration
- - Replicating existing textures
